Very Random Thoughts...

Saturday....Spring......Softball.....the beginning of a wonderful season. Today was Saturday, so much was accomplished. Rian did yard work for 5 hours. The girls helped as much as they could. They did a lot of jumping on the trampoline. Alot of riding bikes. I folded 2 weeks worth of laundry. Cleaned the house. Cleaned the screened in porch. Blew off the carport. Cleaned the front porch chairs. Jumped rope with Kylie. Played "can you find" with both girls. Both girls are in bed. We are ready to relax. The day started at 7:45am. It is now 9:45pm...we are ready to sit down and relax. Tomorrow is a big race. Everyone is coming to our house. Kenzie is ready to see Aubry. Hoping for a wonderful, nice weathered day. It is Spring. We are enjoying being outside. The girls are loving the later evenings. It makes for horrible bed times. Dinner is not served until 7:30 (at the earliest). We are learning to feed them before we do. Makenzie is almost fully potty trained. She went all day Friday in "Big Girl Panties" without one accident. (BTW if anyone wants to send her some 2T panties, I do not remember them being so expensive. $8 for 3 pair....Wowzers) Kylie has started Softball and so far no wins but today was sooooooooooooooooo close. Kylie though, could not be asked to do anything better. She is a natural. She is definitely her daddy's girl. Very athletic....and it comes easy to her. We are looking forward to a busy softball week ahead and weekend. (Hoping, Grandma and Grandpa from Florida will be able to make a game this season!) We hope that everyone is as excited about the change in season as we are. New season...new times. Again...these were Very Random Thoughts!

Spring is coming!!! It is a beautiful 70 degree day today in Georgia and it is FRIDAY! This weekend is going to be in the mid 70's to 80 degrees and full of sunshine. What more could you ask for? Just think...only 4 days ago we were all home on a Monday due to a SNOW day. Now that's true Georgia weather for you! I'll take it, where else can you have 2 days of fun snow to play in, a day off of school, and then the next weekend warm and sunny to enjoy? Makenzie was fascinated by the snow and even as her hands were almost purple and her face was nearly frozen she had no interest in coming inside. The magical white flakes falling from the sky enthralled her and she could not get enough of it. Kylie of course was more than excited about playing in it and even built a snow man with her daddy and Uncle Steve. The next morning when I informed her there was no school was even more exciting I believe. It was a good thing though due to the fact that we had to stay at my mom and dad's house since ours did not have any power. Nothing new there, if the wind blows to hard we lose power. That's what happens when you live in an older neighborhood that consists of nothing but trees (back when they built the house around the trees instead of tearing them all down to build the house). This week has went well and we are looking forward to a full, warm weekend ahead. This evening Kylie has softball practice as well as tomorrow morning. After practice the girls are going to stay with my parents so that Rian, myself, and my brother and Jessica can head up to Reid and Allison's house for a birthday dinner Saturday night. Sunday is the Atlanta race (big deal in our house hold) and Kylie has a birthday party to go to. I hope everyone else is enjoying beautiful weather like us and has a glorious weekend! I know we will.
